The Diamond of Lenno

The Diamond of Lenno (Villa del Balbianello) is one of the most beautiful and romantic villas on Lake Como. The villa, built in the early 1800’s, was frequented by intellectuals and its charm has been used as a background in several film productions. Both the terrace overlooking the lake, dominated by the huge holm oak tree and the loggia are unique. The view is unforgettable! The Lake Como wedding celebration can be performed on one of the terraces overlooking the lake or in the loggia with a romantic atmosphere. After the Lake Como wedding ceremony, the reception can be held in the new loggia segrè or on the terrace.

Ceremonies: civil, symbolic, Protestant and other non-Catholic religions.

Receptions: up to 80 guests in the new loggia segrè, up to 150 guests on the terrace.

Capacity: up to 70 guests for ceremonies in the loggia, up to 150 guests for ceremonies on the terrace.

Boat access: the Villa is accessible only by boat.

Accommodation: a romantic bridal suite is available above the new Loggia Segrè and hotel accommodation for the guests, can be found in nearby towns.

Time: dinner reception from 6pm to 12pm. Extra time until 2am at an extra charge.

Music: until 2am. Volume reduction after midnight.

Notes: only wedding ceremonies of up to 50 guests are allowed when the villa is open to the public. We suggest holding the ceremony and reception after 6pm when the Villa is closed to the public. The throwing of petals, rice or confetti is not allowed.
